Life is NOW!

This is a brewing thought in my head. This might seem completely over the top but this is the only place I can put down such thoughts. So hear me out!

I feel if we change our perspective on "life" we can be more productive and satisfied. (Obviously)

I have started to realize that the way we perceive the term "LIFE" says a lot about our mentality. I am sure not many have thought about it this way but now is a good time.

When we think about the term "life" we usually think of something in the future, something that is about to come. "Live an exciting life!" OR "I want to live a happy life". Do you see what I am trying to point out? Or even something of the past. Like, "All my life I was boring!".

I don't know if it's just English grammar or not, but personally, I always had this perception that "Life" is something always in the future or that has happened in the past. This realization made me ask a question to myself...

What if we think life is nothing but NOW?

Whatever you do now is what shapes your life going forward. Then why is life even perceived as a whole? Our life is what we are now. Nothing else. If we want to change our future we have to work on the now. Working on the now is a conscious activity.

This new perception can make us see the importance of the present even more! This could bring to an end the stress we feel for the future or the trauma we feel of the past.

I don't know how much sense this thought makes but I am sure I am not the only one who thinks this way. If you do, if you have any inputs to this thought be it agreeing or disagreeing let me know about it!

I am aware this was a super short one, but this has been living in my mind for far too long. And I want to explore the reasons why this has never come up or if it did what did that person phrase this in. I personally find such thoughts very interesting and I hope you have this as food for thought for the coming week!

See you next week!
