I love making videos, I love to write, also I love to learn. Everyone has at least one of these "I love to...". When asked why do you love to do all this, The most common answer is " I don't know, I just do!". Many do have a unique answer to this but that is something they create over the time spent doing that specific activity.
When I started writing these blogs, I didn't know why I liked it so much. I could just record myself saying in front of the camera. But reading books made me realize that written words resonate with me on a different level. Written words have this sense of permanence and weight to them which somehow is not felt through videos.
A lot has changed in my life since I have started writing and making videos when I was 12 or 13. And recently I realized something. It's not a big deal just said, but in the long run, it would make sense.
"We love to do something" that doesn't necessarily mean the expression for doing the act. It's something greater than that! If you love doing something it means it's a part of you, It's something that stays with you even if life changes you or others around you.
Sure, circumstances may make you feel like not doing them, but any other reason might just bring you back to it. The problem happens when society relates your love for something as a mode of livelihood. When that happens, even a kid would realize that money is more important to survive and hence follows the norms.
Earn money however you want, do the 9 to 5, or become a freelancer. The key is to not lose touch with something that is a part of you. Losing touch with something you love to do is like losing yourself in this fast-moving world. Find a place for yourself, where you can do something and enjoy your own company. Because YOU can't be taken away from yourself.
That's always gonna stay.
I love how my thoughts flow when I write. I don't need anyone besides me when I am writing or editing videos. That's my zone!
Do you have something like this? If you are not aware of it then find something that has stayed close to you throughout your life. And if you found it, then don't do it for anyone but yourself. That's the power of love!
This was Day 25 of the 30-Day Challenge! I'll see you all tomorrow!
